Blackjack
In Blackjack the player competes against the dealer. The goal is for the player’s hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer’s hand.
The game is played on a semi-circular table with 5 or 7 playing positions. Wagers are placed in the circles provided. Cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks.
The online Blackjack playing rules provided here are based on European Blackjack rules, using four 52-card decks that are shuffled after each hand. There are 5 playing positions you can choose from, and you can play up to 5 hands of Blackjack at the same time. Each hand played is a separate wager against the dealer.
Each of the player’s hands is dealt two cards. The Dealer is also dealt two cards but only one card is face up. The card that remains face down is called the ‘hole card’.
The dealer must hit on all hands totaling 16 or less and stand on all hands totaling 17 or more.
Face cards (the Jack, Queen and King) and 10s all have a value of ten.
An Ace has a value of either 1 or 11. Any combination of cards that contains an Ace card and whose value does not exceed 21 is referred to as a ‘soft hand’. An Ace adopts the value most beneficial for your hand. For example, an Ace and eight will add up to 19, but if the player chooses to take another card that would cause the hand’s value to exceed 21, the Ace will revert to a value of 1.
If you are dealt an Ace and a 10 or face card this is called a BLACKJACK, and your hand will STAND automatically. If you beat the dealer with a BLACKJACK you are paid out at 3 to 2.
If you are dealt a pair you may SPLIT your hand. This means that your pair is divided into two separate hands with two separate wagers. A second wager – equal to your original wager – is automatically placed on your second hand. You play both hands as separate hands.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten, this is not a BLACKJACK. Such a hand would have a value of 21. It beats the dealer’s hand value less than 21 and ties – called a PUSH – against the dealer’s hand value of 21, except if the dealer’s hand is a BLACKJACK. This rule also applies to splitting pairs of cards with a value of ten. Should you split a pair of tens (or face cards) and then receive an ace, this hand is not a BLACKJACK.
If you split Aces you will receive only 1 more card to complete your hand. If the second card is a face card or 10 it is not a Blackjack. You cannot split your hand(s) again.
If the value of your initial two cards is 9, 10 or 11 then you are allowed to DOUBLE. This is a wager that your hand total with your next card will be higher than the dealer’s completed hand. The wager costs as much as your original bet, but should you win you will be paid double of your total wager (or four times your original wager.)
If the dealer’s face up card is an Ace you may purchase INSURANCE. INSURANCE is purchased prior to playing your hand(s). If you purchase INSURANCE and then SPLIT or DOUBLE your hand(s), the value of your INSURANCE bet is automatically doubled.
If your hand beats the dealer’s hand then you have won.
BUST Hand
All hands that exceed 21 lose, even if the dealer also goes BUST.
If the dealer goes BUST but the player’s hand is under 21 the player wins.
Blackjack
All hands that are dealt an Ace and a 10 or a face card win, unless the dealer also has a BLACKJACK – a PUSH.
Insurance Bets
All hands that purchased INSURANCE win if the dealer has a BLACKJACK – you will break even; if the dealer doesn’t have a BLACKJACK the INSURANCE bet loses.
PUSH Hands
If the dealer’s hand total and the player’s hand total are the same than the hand is a tie or PUSH and the player’s bet is returned.
Other
If the dealer’s hand and the player’s hand are both under 21, the hands are compared. If the player’s hand is closer to 21 the player wins, if the dealer’s hand is closer to 21 the player loses.
Roulette
Roulette is an enticing game played by spinning a small ball counterclockwise around a wheel that spins clockwise. When the wheel comes to rest, the ball drops into one of these slots. The object of Roulette is to predict the slot the ball will land in.
Wagers in Roulette are placed on an area of the table marked with a pattern of boxes and numbers.
First you must decide on which numbers or groups of numbers to bet on. You can do this by moving the mouse over the table felt and left clicking to deposit chips on the table. Right clicking will remove chips.
You can place chips on individual numbers or on the borders shared by two or four numbers. You can also bet on whether the number will be odd or even, black or red, or low or high.
Once you have decided upon your bet press the SPIN button to start the game. The roulette wheel will spin and the ball will be placed on the wheel. It will soon come to rest in one of the numbered slots on the wheel.
If the number falls with in the range of any one of your bets then you have won.
There are many different bets you can make in Roulette:
Inside Bets or Straight Bets
You can bet on any single number by placing a chip in the center in any of the 37 numbers from 0 through 36.
Split Bet or Two Number Bet
You must place your chip on the line between two separate numbers. If the ball lands on either of these numbers you win.
Street Bet or Three Number Bet
This allows you to cover three numbers in a row with one bet. To make this bet place your chip in the outside line of the row you want to bet on. If one of these three numbers comes up, you win.
Corner or Square Bet
Place your chip in the center of four numbers and if one of these numbers comes up you win.
The Six Numbers Bet
Allows you to bet on two rows of three numbers. Place your chip in between the outside line of the last numbers of the two rows.
Outside Bets / Any Red or Black
These bets divide the roulette table into red and black. The bet is on either a black or red number coming up and is placed on either the red or black diamond. If 0 comes up the bet loses.
Any Low Number or High Number Bet
These bets divide the roulette table into the numbers 1 – 18 and 19 – 36. The bet is on either a number from 1 to 18 or from 19 to 36 coming up and is placed on either the 1 to 18 or 19 to 36 rectangle. If 0 comes up the bet loses.
Any Even or Odd Bet
These bets divide the roulette table into even and odd. The bet is on either an even or odd number coming up and is placed on either the even or odd rectangle. If 0 comes up the bet loses.
The Dozens Bet
These bets divide the roulette table into the numbers 1-12, 13-24, and 25-36. The bet is on either a number from 1 to 12 or from 13 to 24 or from 25 to 36 coming up and is placed on the 1st 12, 2nd 12, or 3rd 12 rectangle.
Column Bets
These bets divide the roulette table into columns of 12 numbers. The bet is on any one of the three columns and is placed at the end of the column on the 2 to 1 rectangle.
Slots
There are numerous types of slot games available online, from 3-Reels to 5-Reels to Progressives and more! Individual paylines and symbols vary between different games, but the basic objective is to align the same symbol across all rows of a given reel or reels. Most online slot games pay out only the most lucrative winning reel, and many have reduced payouts for a reduced number of matching symbols.

Video Poker
In Video Poker games, the dealer (the machine) deals the player a hand of five cards. When cards are turned face up the player decides which cards to hold (keep) or discard. Then the player draws to replace any discarded cards.
The objective is to finish the game with the strongest hand possible. The payout at the end of the game is dependent on the value of the hand the player is holding, and the size of the wager.
The PAYTABLES consist of a payout column and a payout row. The payout column(s) show the number of coins bet and the payout values. The payout row(s) show the poker hand and the payout values for each hand combination. The payout column is highlighted automatically. If you win, the winning row on the PAYTABLE is highlighted.
When playing any Video Poker game, decide on the coin size that you wish to play with by clicking on the COIN buttons. Then decide how many coins you wish to bet by clicking on the column on the paytable.
After the first deal, any viable cards in your first hand are automatically held and highlighted for you.
Choose the cards that can potentially give you the highest payout.
Draw your next hand of cards. The cards you have not held will be removed and replaced with fresh cards from the deck.
If you win you can COLLECT your winnings. If you want to try and win even more, press the DOUBLE button. The cards will be removed from the screen and a further five cards will replace them. You must choose a card and if it has a rank greater than that of the dealer’s card, you will win an amount double that of your original payout.
You will then be given the chance to double your payout even further or to collect your winnings.
Once you have collected your winnings you can begin another hand of Video Poker by pressing the DEAL button again.
The payout at the end of the game is based on the card combination you are holding and the size of your wager.
